The Uncommon Anchor.
We all know the common themes associated with an anchor – stability, strength, hope, safety, and others. People who are “anchored” display similar characteristics – they are stable, strong, committed, appear to have clear direction, and, overall, they just seem rock solid. Given this, they have an ability to handle or endure any adversity that comes their way. And, when the storm passes, they pull up their anchor and move forward again.
The Uncommon Anchor shown here – the symbol for all things winning with class – takes all the above to the next level. It is uncommon for several reasons. The visual difference is obvious and simple – this one just looks different than other anchors. This comes from the bottom of the anchor consisting of a W and a C, for Winning and Class.
The more important reason for calling this anchor Uncommon has to do with the themes it represents. This uncommon anchor is a symbol of an unwavering commitment to bring winning AND class into all that we do. It’s a commitment to be intentional about living by a code. This code – living a winning with class life - is built on high standards, principles, and values which are non-negotiable. When we consistently live by this code, our internal Uncommon Anchored is strengthened.
The consistent building and maintaining of our Uncommon Anchor is a Pursuit of Complete that has us consistently pursuing the best and most complete version of ourselves. As we consistently live in this pursuit, we soon BECOME uncommon anchors to those around us. The PEACE that comes from this PURSUIT draws others in. This is how our families, teams, communities, our country and beyond all grow stronger.
It is our mission to help you BUILD your uncommon anchor so that you can then BE an uncommon anchor for all of the teams around you. We NEED to build our own internal uncommon anchor for that person in the mirror. More importantly, we need to BE and an uncommon anchor for our families, teams, communities, country, and beyond.
